Someone by the name of J Milner who apparently plays for Manchester City will also be on the bench. Wonder if him and Ash will be chatting on the sidelines?
Other things to talk about in this open thread:
Republic of Ireland v Argentina: Starts at 19:45 GMT, 11:45am PT. Considering every Irishman in the world seems linked with Villa, why not watch? Robbie Keane (ugh) gets his 100 cap and of course Richard Dunne starts
You can watch Montenegro v Northern Ireland, on now, but that seems almost as silly as Wales v Luxembourg. And no, James Collins won't be playing so he can continue to recover from injury.
The three Carling Cup matches are:
Cardiff v Burton Albion
Hartlepool v Sheffield United
Torquay v Reading
All with 19:45 GMT, 11:45am PT kickoffs.

others are suggesting that he's been one of the better players
such as zonal marking. I’m not watching, obviously, but people seem to either love him or hate him…

I agree, although I think his dribbling has improved dramatically over the past year, and if he can improve his decision-making some more, he could be dangerous as hell

They played pretty nice football
once McDermott became the manager. And Gylfi Sigurdsson is one of the sweetest strikers of a dead ball in England now.
