I downloaded the new Official AVFC iPhone Application today.   It is basically features all of the content on the official AVFC site, in an easier to read/navigate package for your iPhone/iPod Touch.  It seems easy enough to use and if you are an AVTV subscriber you can stream all AVTV content and live audio with the App, in addition to live match commentary, news, some wallpapers, and the official AVFC Podcast..

For $4.99 (£2.50) the price was steep for what you are getting. Anyone who has gone on the old official site on their mobile device can attest to the fact that was is the worst mobile optimized site on the planet.  Perhaps in conjunction with the launch of the app they have relaunched their official site and a mobile site.  I have not had a chance to navigate the new site yet, but the mobile site looks pretty spartan.  For $0.99 I would not complain, but I would not recommend it unless want full access of all of the content from the official site from anywhere, or want to be able to listen to matches on the go.
