Andy Marshall Brings the News: Dunne helps Ireland, Reserves win

Meanwhile, Gabby is slowly turning into Vishnu. Just thought y'all should know.

Well, a lot of the Villa lads are off playing for their countries this week. Meanwhile, I'm sitting at home hoping the reserves need someone for their bench. Why don't we see how both of those things are going?

On the international front, Richard Dunne scored to help Ireland make it to the Euro 2012 play-off. Apparently Armenia's keeper got sent off for handling the ball outside his area. What a stupid mistake. See, whenever I handle the ball it's because it's gone out of bounds and I have to give it to someone else. There's no way they send me off for that.

As far as my quest to see a soccer match from a playing perspective again, I've failed. The reserves managed to win 2-1 against Wolves despite not having my expertise in the net. 16-year-old Callum Robinson scored twice in the match, for his second and third goals in two games. Whatever, dude. I dropped a fork in the kitchen today and picked it up with my feet.

Finally, even though it doesn't even vaguely affect me, I guess I should tell you that Manchester City's Sergio Aguero is probably going to miss this weekend's match against us. I wonder how many people I'd have to injure before I got back out there?
