Rumour Mill: Robert Green to AVFC?
According to must-follow AVFC journalist Timothy Abraham, word has it that World Cup hero Rob Green is thinking about coming to Villa if West Ham get relegated.
I'm a huge fan of Brad Friedel, and I think he should start for Villa until he retires and/or dies. However, we have no backup keepers, and Robert Green is actually pretty decent. The worrying thing for me is that Green will be a waste of money as a substitute but not as good as our current starter.
What do you think?

Even though I'm amused by those Robert Green jokes
I’d very much like this signing…providing he starts. At 31, he could be this team’s keeper for the next four years, and I appreciate that stability, since who knows what happens with Guzan.
As much as I love Brad Friedel, he’s not going to be around for much longer, so if they can find someone willing to take him, they should wish him well and do it.
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.

Agreed, because while I want Brad 1.0 to live forever, I don't think the club has a thing for 2.0
And what if Friedel gets injured? Marshall? Please.

Having never seen him, I’m not convinced that Andy Marshall is an actual person. He may just be the goalkeeping coach in a mask.

Yuck
There are three players from West Ham that I would be interested in when they go down. Scott Parker, Demba Ba or James Tompkins. I wouldn’t go near the rest of that team with a barge pole.

Will he ever be fit long enough
He sure was quality when he was here, so I would be open to that.
