In the comments of her second Brad Friedel story of the day, Kirsten made an exasperated comment about that sent me
searching the Internet. Apparently our favorite keeper has been linked with the midlands despite the fact that Liverpool seems to have him sewn up already. This should be a good thing, but rather than Aston Villa, the club that there are rumors of Friedel joining is West Bromwich Albion.
I can't find a really good story - and I doubt that there is any truth to this - so I will just link you to this fine piece of writing from the Daily Mail. Allow me to excerpt:
