Yes, yes, it's been an awful last two matches for Aston Villa. Come find moral support in the 7500 to Holte match thread.

The Aston Villa official twitter gave us the lineups in some sort of hallucinatory shape -- unless Villa are playing a 3-3-3-1? Anyway, I realized there's no way I'll be able to tell if they've truly messed up the Wigan lineups, so I'm leaving these as is and letting people who've had coffee or been up more than ten minutes sort them out.
Think of it as a fun word puzzle to take your mind off the match!
Aston Villa Starting XI: Brad Guzan, Matthew Lowton, Ciaran Clark, Joe Bennett, Brett Holman, Chris Herd, Eric Lichaj, Andreas Weimann, Barry Bannan, Stephen Ireland, Christian Benteke
Villa substitutes (from): Shay Given, Karim El Ahmadi, Marc Albrighton, Ashley Westwood, Jordan Bowery, Enda Stevens, Samir Carruthers
Wigan Athletic Starting XI: Ali Al Habsi, Gary Caldwell, Emmerson Boyce, Iván Ramis, Maynor Figueroa, Jean Beausejour, Shaun Maloney, David Jones, James McCarthy, Franco Di Santo, Arouna Koné

As nice as it would be to see Aston Villa come roaring out of the gates en route to a classy display against Wigan Athletic, Paul Lambert may well find that the better path will be found by simply looking to stop the bleeding.
