According to Matt Slater of the BBC.
Could Bob Bradley become Villa's manager? Of course he could. But think about this logically. Bradley was always set to be re-negotiating his contract. When asked about coaching in Europe, he said he'd love to. He has never said he was approached to coach. Any "news" story linking him to the job has quoted that interview.
On the Villa side, Randy Lerner has made it clear that this might take awhile. He wants to evaluate the options. Lerner hasn't had to appoint a Villa manager before. Why would he rush the process now? That goes against what we know about Lerner.
Villa fans, we have a perfectly reasonable caretaker manager in Kevin MacDonald. A manager that the players know and seem to trust. We need to throw our support behind him, not spend our days staring at the tabloids (or even ESPN Soccernet, which published this as credible as well).
